Easily one of the best albums of 2021. Eivind's music is a perfect blend of jazz, post-rock, ambient, and electronic music like nothing else out there and it should be alot more recognized than it is. It's up there with Sonic Codex as his best so far.

Magic in its purest form. I love Floating Points, I love Pharoah Sanders, I love The London Symphony Orchestra. It's a match made in heaven, and the result is absolutely gorgeous. I have loved this record since its release, and realized I don't own it for some reason. So its time to change that. 9.5/10 honestly could become a 10/10 on an indepth vinyl relisten.

Such a beautifully crafted album. Such intense rich weaving of sounds and feelings. It’s one of those albums you are happy to share at the same time want to keep as a personal secret. Amazing stuff by Mr Halsall. I suggest anyone reading this to spend some time in his early stuff too. Song to Charlie is monumental.

The eponymous debut by DSS is a work of considerable beauty, setting a defining benchmark in its foundation & upon which this sophomore builds exponentially, demanding the full attention of the listener & providing yet further joy & amazement at the supergroup's creative genius & talent. The single 'Life Standing Still' is delightful, but in my view it's 'Invocation' that really grabs & does indeed live up to the meaning of its title. A truly wonderful, mesmeric, interesting & escapist work.
